Long Beach Retirement Cake

This was a Long Beach, CA themed retirement cake.  The bottom tier is a lemon cake with lemon filling and vanilla buttercream.  It is decorated with whales and dolphins.  The second tier is chococlate cake with fresh raspberries and chocolate buttercream. It is decaorated with Long Beach landmarks such as the City Hall, World Trade Center and Queen Mary along with a sign over the beach with the salutations.  The top has a hot dog stand because the retiree wants to start a hot dog vending company. 

It was a lot of work but worth it in the end.
